About me

Since I read "Jupiters Travels" of Ted Simon I was fascinated by the idea of traveling the world on a motorbike. I love how connected you are with your environment. How exposed you are to the elements. How you become part of the ever changing nature around you, when traveling on two wheels. In August 2023 I finally decided to make this dream become a reality.

After my assignment with an American Software company came to an end, I prepared myself to hit the road.

My bike is a 2019 Royal Enfield Classic 500 wich I had bought second hand from Italy and modified over a few months. A test ride around the Adriatic helped me to find some last modifications I wanted to do. What comes next, time will tell. But for sure, I will report it here.
